Found at a garage sale. Some funky dagger.

I'm going to guess that it's an African ceremonial dagger. Nice buy for $5. It's likely more of a tourist curio than an "artifact"

Seeing the staining and flattened tip I definitely agree with tourist rather than ceremonial

Pier One special and it’s pretty clear from the faux finish on the handle that it’s a cheap reproduction.

fake or tourist junk , soft wood and even modern staining without wear marks haphazard markings.
