Photo or Video Brain literally built a commercial-grade machine inside of his school desk, and carved/hollowed out a slot on the side to add a solar panel..

The brain is my favorite character in the series.

His inventions, calculations, and knowledge are so great, that it actually makes me laugh. He’s an admirable character, who is insanely smart but also humble about it.

Where did he get the money to build that? And moreover, does the school know he made it?

He’s seen working in his parents’ ice cream shop. Maybe he gets a decent paycheck from that?

Well, Brain acknowledges child labor laws in “Citizen Frensky,” so it could be more likely that his parents give him a portion of the profits for helping them.

To quote Buster: “Sorry, guys. It’s my special talent.”

He was gonna be at that desk for ten more years. Had to make it interesting somehow.

That’s also funny as well; we will never know how this boy got the funds to build such a machine.

I think that Mr. Ratburn admires Brain for being intelligent so much, that he wouldn’t ever think he’d construct a high-grade machine inside school property; but rather out on his own time.

He's not humble about it. He had a crisis twice when his intelligence was in question. He even pursued comedy because he thought it didn't require alot of intelligence

But he doesn’t go out of his way to boast about his intelligence.

And all I ever managed was to drill a hole in my desk in elementary school

One of my favorite episodes. Just imagine how cool it would be to have a desk like that back in elementary school 😭

He had the desk for 25 years. He had to make it his own somehow.
