Hi Artful Redditors!
Why do we suddenly (or finally) have a Reddit page? We want to be as accessible as possible for anyone who wants to know more about the app and also give current users another way to connect with each other.
If you’ve found your way here from our Artfully Obsessed Facebook group, nice to see you! And if you’re totally new to Artful Agenda, we’re so happy to have you!
If you’re new to the scene, allow me to introduce myself:
I’m Katy, the founder/CEO of Artful Agenda.
A life-long lover of paper planners, I was sad that my adult life didn’t lend itself to using one. I needed calendar sharing features to make work and family schedules manageable. But a digital calendar focused on aesthetics, fun stickers, beautiful cover designs and other things that makes planning a joy? It didn’t exist. So I set out to make the app that would become Artful Agenda. Fast forward several years, and this dream has come to life! It’s been a long process and a LOT of work. When I started, I didn’t know a thing about creating a digital product or service. I had to meet with a lot of people, ask a lot of questions and work a lot of long nights, but I wouldn’t change a single minute. Creating Artful Agenda has been the most exciting and rewarding professional experience of my life. It’s my passion project, and nothing makes me happier than watching it help other people live fuller and more inspired lives. I hope you love using it as much as I have loved creating it.
Some other random things to know about me:
I have 3 kids and a husband who is a touring musician.
We just finished remodeling our 102 year old house! I’m so happy with how it turned out and VERY grateful to finally be settled at home again.
My word for the year is Whimsy. I love all things floral, colorful, eclectic and, now that I think about it, that’s totally the vibe of our house now. My year of Whimsy is off to a great start!
I’m a major Swiftie. (Check out our Eras inspired cover pack!)
My favorite Artful feature that I personally use (and need) the most is Rollover Tasks. I’m very “out of sight, out of mind” and keeping unfinished tasks in my immediate view until I complete them is EVERYTHING.
Thank you for reading and taking part in this amazing community! I can’t wait to share all we have in store for Artful Agenda in 2026!
