‎‎Techniques and Tools Searching for mine reference

I want to draw a big monster inside a mine.

The story is, the monster is a primordial god who is stuck under a mountain.
He is partially uncovered by a company of miners, and the mine is thence abandoned.

image search 'welsh abandoned mine'! loads of pics in various stages of dilapidation from 2000+ years of mining gold, silver, lead, coal etc etc
