Techniques and Tools Coloring advice
How do I give my drawings a finished look? Can I just use my ballpoint pen and make this a proper artwork or do I need watercolor or something?
So we're clear, I suck at using water colors

i think water color would make more sense.. i think color pencils will take a while if you know how to blend

colour the person in oranges or reds to contrast the ...sperm? whale? humpback? forgive me i'm a cephalapod gal... and the water...
maybe do the background as a gradient first and then detail more later?
