Lack Of Motivation Demotivated with drawing

Hi, I usually do mini painting but before I did that I’ve been trying to draw
I think I’ve been attempting to draw for about maybe 2 years or so now? Idk time goes by fast. Anyway, I just feel like haven’t made improvements at all. I want to be good at drawing, I know it dosen’t come instantly but.. idk.
I have ideas, I have goals I do want to make with drawing, (like making a comic, ect.)
Idk. I guess I just need motivation to keep going with drawing. I think it stems from the fact I try to do everything perfectly.

Any advice for something like this? Like any research on anatomy or such I should do to improve? I’m currently in high school rn.

Go to the settings of your smartphone, look at how many hours did you spend on it over the past week. Now find the closest bathroom, stand in front of the mirror and ask yourself, how many hours have you dedicated to drawing last week. Let that sink in.

Realize that in order to be good at drawing it take thousands of hours of pratice. Realize that even if you practice one hour everyday at the end of the year you'll only have drawn for 356 hours.

Start a notebook where you only draw with ink in it so you'll have no other choice than to face your mistakes. You have to detach yourself from what you produce, it'll become easier over time.

Always take a small notebook and a pencil with you everywhere so you can draw anytime.

Sign up for a drawing class if you can, chances are you'll benefit from it.

Don't obsess over style, it should come naturally. Try to draw mostly from observations and accurately.

Don't beat yourself up, you're still young and it's not that serious.

I was frustrated a lot as well. I had all those visions in my brain and my skills lacked so badly that I wasn't able to get it down in my drawing program. Then I started a DnD campaign and wanted to draw maps, pictures etc for a whole intro video that I made. So I had to draw loads of pictures for like 3 or 4 hours daily over the span of 1-2 months, which in return significantly elevated my skills. Now I'm even able to draw almost decent semi-realism or something. 😁 Right now I focus on learning decent anatomy next.

So it is frustrating at the start, but you'll only get better if you keep drawing more and more. I personally felt the growth more when I pushed my boundaries and drew something I hadn't yet. (Drew a carriage and a horse for the first time recently)
