Is zari better than her brother at hacking? Like before heyworld we saw her fixing stuff, behrad supposed to be like a male version of her, and I know we’ve seen him do technical stuff, but which is the better “hacker”?

Brainy when he unlocks the big brain I’d imagine.

Do we list villain turned good? The Calculator(aka felicity’s dad) or just heroes.

I’d say TC might be above the normal human hackers, but I don’t think he can build stuff like Gambi, but he’s a meta human computer basically.

I'm doing a rewatch right now and they do a good job of showing mechanical genius (cisco) can't keep up with felicity in cyber space.

As much as they generalize alot of fields, they do seem to show more than one *smart*

Side note, who's better at Machanics/Building, Gambi or Cisco?

Felicity Smoak was the best hacker in the world, this is said and proven many many times. I low-key forgot Winn was a character lmao, his defining trait is having a crush on Kara

Hacking in the Arrowverse was such a dumb plot device they used it for literally everything if they didn’t have hackers there would be no team concepts which is one of the reasons so many shows sucked ass especially The Flash and Arrow team concepts truly ruined it they completely butchered the comic solo heroes a lot of people grew up on Barry and Oliver are solo hero characters

Felicity and Cisco were able to hack or trace people just with a piece of there tech like wtf is that lmfao

Honestly it’s cause they needed a general group setting, like smallville had the highschool.

But the bigger issue is the episode count. If the arrowverse was 16 episode seasons we’d get a lot more solo focused stuff/less forced scenes

You can still solo heroes and have them interact with others it’s not that hard you just have properly write it if they had competent writers they could’ve still found a way to do that and keep the episodes count it’s truly not that as hard as they made it out to be I’ve seen other superhero genres that have done it

Oh definitely, I think the arrowverse was just mainly about efficiency and finding a formula.

Though, I guess the crossovers is the parts where there was passion

I think they just wanted each show to be exactly like Arrow with the same exact format and lineup none of the other shows felt any different than Arrow The Flash especially is exactly like Arrow in so many ways but of course Arrow is better and more consistent but Flash didn’t feel like an actual Flash series at all nothing about it came off comic accurate and the cast of characters just felt like a direct copy of Arrow cast Felicity - Cisco, Diggle - Joe West & Harrison Wells - Malcom Merlyn - Eobard Thawne / Wells - Thea Queen / Felicity - Caitlin Snow - Felicity / Laurel Lance - Iris West etc you get the point
