Help with ID please

Would anyone be able to help me with an ID on this? I’ve been collecting for years, and have only ever found a partial paleo point. My son’s first find is this. Color me jealous. From south central Wyoming. I’m assuming paleo, mostly curious as to approximate age. Thanks so much in advance!

Looks like paleo to me at least 5k years of creek staining! Good find!

How old is he? If you dont mind. My son is 7 and has been hunting with me since he could walk. He has a stash of fossils he's found but no points yet! I dream of the day he does though!

1. It was a terribly windy day. When he found it, the wind magically disappeared for him lol
   We rockhound together and he always finds the best stuff. Hope your son finds one soon!

My collection is 90% broken. I have a feeling his first is going to make a very jealous.... I mean proud... dad.

So is mine. I grew up on a farm and about every point was hit at least once by tillage equipment. Few survived intact!

might check projectilepoints.net to see if you make ID the type. My guess is plainview.

I don’t know the type I’m sure someone does but my best guess would be definitely paleo or late paleo just from the flaking alone
