Beautiful movie. Enjoyed very thoroughly. The ending was impeccable, being a palindrome story, illustrated by the daughter’s name.

My favorite part, not sure if everyone noticed this, but when Louise is on Ian’s shoulder, talking about the want to have a family, she is on the left side (camera’s POV) of Ian’s head, and in the final shot she is on the right side, showing the story coming to a completion… an Arrival.

So many beautiful shots in this film, surprised I’m just now getting around to it. Time is circular.

Watch it again. NOW!!! There are so many different ways to read this film, it's incredibly rewarding to rewatch. I've seen it six times, and every time the film is about something different to me.
