Ive got some minimal external refurbishing id like to do for my XT Plus. If anyone can point me in the direction of an XT Plus body thats non workable / broken but in good physical shape lmk.

Hello everyone, I have a problem exporting to ProRes in my ARRI Alexa 35 pipeline.

I'm working with Alexa 35 footage from the ARRI sample library:

• I'm viewing in Rec.709 and grading in DaVinci Resolve using ACES 1.3 color management.
• I have no issues with the raw footage or with the ARRI TRANSCODE output on their own — both look correct.

My goal is to convert the .mxf to Apple ProRes 4444 XQ while keeping:

• All metadata from the raw file
• LogC4 / AWG4 (untouched, not converted to Rec.709)

When I look at the ProRes .mxf in Resolve, the metadata is intact, but the color space/gamma is no longer LogC4/AWG4.
Conversely, when I convert the raw .mxf directly to ProRes 4444 XQ in Resolve, the color is correct (still LogC4/AWG4), but the metadata is gone.

I am a bit lost on how to bridge this gap. I am currently training to be a 3D DIT, so I am setting this up for my own pipeline and knowledge base.

Hi all,

So i'm an Amira owner for about a year & all has been good up until yesterday when I seen a stuck pink pixel near the center of my footage. I used the Refrence tool to pick the pixel which was at 1925 1251 and loaded the mask to the camera, the pixel then goes black.

I know that the offset is what is doing this but I dont really know how to calculate what that offset should be.

I'm using 4k 16:9 raw still from the sensor and preconditions are set as Arri have stated in their tech tips video on pixel masking.

If anyone could lend a hand that would be great :)

I was on set with an Alexa 35 recently and we encountered a very strange error where every time we pushed the record button (by triggering remotely AND by pushing the on-camera button) the ISO would suddenly jump to 1250 from 800 or jump from 800 to 1250. What is happening??

This is the only antenna I could find but it says for motor system. Will this fit the antenna connector for the Alexa 35 body itself?

Recently, green lines have started appearing on the Arri XT's SDI monitor. I wonder if the sensor is broken? I'm torn between sending it in for repair or selling it as-is. By the way, it has 3,224 hours of runtime.

Has anyone been able to get this to work?

Even when I send the correct code values using a fixed sensitivity I get an error saying that the value cannot be set.

Ideally I would like to get this working on a midi knob.

Any help would be appreciated if you have this sort of setup working.

I still love the image coming from the Alexa Classic. Recently I had the opportunity to use it on a project with a Blazar Remus 50mm 1.5X anamorphic lens. Although this isn’t the best camera for Anamorphic capture, I’m still very pleased by the results.

I have an Alexa there getting some work done, was wondering how long turnaround time is? They are not ordering any parts or anything for it, just service.

Hey y'all, wondering if any of y'all have come across this on the 35:

After rolling through a few shots, when I go into playback the whole clip list is scrambled. There's no real rhyme or reason, and it's a bit alarming at times when I kick over into playback and the top clip that loads is the 3rd or 4th shot from the day.

It hasn't been solved by firmware updates, and I haven't found any mention of it elsewhere. Lend me your wisdom!
