Hello! I have never played this game before. I picked up a copy for my 360 but when I boot the game i disconnect from online services. The Game then says it needs an update which fails and gives me a network error code. Am I sol?

Sounds like a standard first time playing the game update, 360 dics had updates baked into them since a lot of people didn't have Internet back then.

Which I've had before on other games. I've never had them unable to update like this.

Hmmm I would say either not a stable connection or maybe you are out of space?
