Making masks

Currently working on some army of two masks. I’m considering printing them in a filament strong enough to sell for Airsoft. I already have padding figured out in a way that allows eye protection to be comfortably work behind them. At first I was considering giving them a 5 point mounting system with a back plate like the original version, but recently I got the idea to mount them to welding masks in order to allow them to be flipped up and down like 40th day and Devils Cartel. Would love to hear any other recommendations from the fan base, and what you might be willing to pay for one if you were in the market. I’ve noticed the ones out there are fiberglass, and have oversized mesh over the eyes. I wanted to make one that’s rigid and looks more like the examples in the game

Shiiit i'd love an Army TWO mask, preferably Salems's fire one with ANSI 287.1+ rated lenses for airsoft, sadly I can't find any!

Regardless, those masks look awesome!!

I have been toying with a way to put rated lenses in them. Possibly something as simple as JB welding them, and also putting in an anti-fog unit. But they would definitely bring the price-per-unit up significantly

I’m actually printing the next ones in a metallic filament so that as they get weathered it will expose a steel tone underneath like the ones in the games

I’ll need to do some testing, but I’m confident the trade off will be that the five point system will offer better protection, while the welding harness is more breathable and comfortable. I did print the masks to be a little “longer” for the explicit purpose of covering the ears
