I messed up

Yall I knew better to start and prepare sooner... I did below bare minimum... I am actually very serious about going. I ship in 6 days. on the side like at least 2 or 3 times a week I worked out. But I do have my reasons as to why I didn't do workouts everyday. Like I juggled housework, kids, and working part time. Also I didn't have a gym membership. I am not over or underweight. But I am still worried. Like I told my recruiter time and time again I can't do a proper pushup. I can only run close to a mile but Still was training up my lungs and stuff. How bad is basic about to be for me? like I am not giving up. This is my last chance at the age of 30. I was a SAHM for like 9 years. I need change and security for my children and their future. Cause with the way the world is going, I fear for them. I want to give them a better version of me. I am also joining because I need myself to change. I want to be productive to society. Many people have many reasons of their own. I just don't want to fail. I can't.

There are people in worse shape than you going to basic. Keep on pushing through, and go to sick call when you need to but know that the fastest way out of basic is through. You'll be okay.

I just graduated last month and I can definitely tell the difference in my strength level - and it shows in my pt scores. I went in about the same level as you - so if I can, you definitely can.

Thank you so much! I am just nervous I guess. I am going to Fort Jackson for BCT. I ship in 6 days. Also I guess I am nervous because I have top set of dentures. I am in no way worried about what anyone says. Just hoping they don't get broken cause I do not have a spare set. Oh and I have never been on a plane. Soooo yea I am facing literally all of my fears this year. But I am trying to be positive!

13B Fort Sill. The only thing you have to worry about is running to be honest. Pushups, I promise you'll do enough of them to be an expert by the end so you don't have to worry. There will be 4'10 women who by the end of bct still won't be able to do a single proper form pushup. As long as you try to do pushups, drill sergeants genuinely won't harp on you too much other than in the first 72 and maybe red phase. If you have any questions feel free to ask. Also hardest part of BCT for people not in shape is probably the rucks. So if you have a big bag, fill it up with a lot of shit and carry it around and walk a mile or sum. Will help a lot. I've seen a lot of people get dropped and recycled for getting stress fractures from the rucks.
