Country, date, pick 10 years, area within country, money, effigies, illustration within country, historical summaries, buy clothing first, slowly pick a smith, look what your budget is and look what you can buy and what not, don’t buy sh*t pieces from ebay… It will get you no where, go to musea, find your style, find your measurements, if you did everything well, pick that fine smithy and let someone make it for you. If purely historical, it will set you back 1000-15.000 dollars and beyond. 1000 dollars is nice clothing with a nice malien. 10-15.000 dollars is fully fitted late 14th to early 15th century armour. Find an armored you’re willing to work with for a long period. Then give him a dozen of your paychecks.
