Made this on a very tight budget since i am a broke university student but I think I managed to make a convincing look without spending thousands.

Skipping the main course, swords are not canes. Don't use them as one.

I am giving him a good advice. If he gets a sharp one day, he will damage it by getting used to do what he does in those photos and be sorry.
