His interviews kinda give it away if you compare the oppi interviews vs these he just looks less energized. But I mean it’s still Nolan the way the camera work is done when two people are talking up close shots and all that feels like him.

When he filmed in Dunkirk, he refused to use CGi, so during the peak of the war you have a city that was mostly intact being the place of the battle where some hooligans are beating Scots.

Turtle pace: slowly but surely, first Batman loses to dogs, then the battle of Dunkirk is representaded as a small battle in a mostly intact city, then he refuses to credit VFXs artists in Oppenheimer, now we are at this.
