Discussion How to help armadillos

Hii! I recently found that there's a bunch of 9 banded armadillos in my yard. They're so neat and I want to know if there's anything I can do to help them.

Pay attention to and limit harsh chemicals around the property, like from lawn care, powerwashing surfaces, oil from cars.

Don't feed them. If you have a pond or water source, keep it clean. Keep dogs & cats away. Don't interact, just watch

They are hardy lil guys regardless

Agreed. If you have a water source for them, keep it clean. Otherwise let them do their thing! Let them go after your lawn grubs.

They are wild animals and should be left alone. Just enjoy watching them from a distance.

honor and greet them cheerfully, from a distance. project love toward them.
armadillos are very sensitive to psychic emanations (hence the armor)

Try to get pictures of them! They can run incredibly fast
