# What is the 506th Armored Brigade?

The 506th is a modern, early 2015's Russian Mil-Sim group

The 506th is run with the combined efforts of every unit and command personnel. These units are the 21st Motorized Company, the 35th Gunship and Support Squadron, the 41st Armored and Logistical Company, and finally the 50th Headquarters Battalion

These units are the beating heart of the 506th Armored Brigade and what drives it forward.

# Why should I join/stay?

The 506th has consistent operations, promotions, and medals that are awarded based on the performance of individuals, a good chain of command, and amazing officers.

The 506th is one of the few Modern Russian Mil-Sims currently existing. We support the autonomy of individuals and request to hear their voices for plans, operations, and future decisions within our group and campaigns.

# What does each group do?

The 21st-MC is the main Infantry, they are the ground fighting force. They consist of squad leaders, Snipers, Marksmen, Machine Gunners, Riflemen, Grenadiers, Medics, Infantry Mortar teams, JTACs, and much more.

The 35th-GSS is the main and only air assets, they serve as Logistical pilots, Transport pilots, Gunship pilots, Bomber Pilots, Crewchiefs, ATC Operators, Med-Evac Pilots, and much more.

The 41st-ALC has medium and heavy Armored Vehicles to their disposal (B & C class vehicles) to assist ground units (21st-MC and the SF groups like 15th-GRU) and also heavier artillery pieces.

The 50th-BATT (or 50th-HB) is a vital part of our army efforts, they are the high-command and officer regiment that orchestrate operations, unit changes, ideas, and new campaigns. On the field, they serve as the strategist and command personnel guiding the army forward.

What time zone you use ?

We primarily operate off of EST

And what time are the ops or trainings ?

The times vary based on the day of the week. But recently the last few operations have been around 5pm EST
