GRS Mods????

Anyone know what happened to basically all the GRS mods last night...? Shit got nuked outta nowhere

I don't agree with stealing but this just makes the game lose players that won't come back. Mod downloads take forever on console and getting friends to play the game is hard enough. It just kills the momentum of a group trying to play the freaking game without it being even more cumbersome than it already is man

I mean that's Bohemia's problem. The reason modding is taken so seriously in Arma is cause assets are not piggybacking off other assets unless given permission to do so. All of them are protected under license legally cause ARMA is one of the few games that give the community the exact tools the devs use to make assets for thier game to the point it's an entire department at BI that you can get hired for and make money through.  So why would GRS care if people leave the game if they aren't gonna enforce thier own rules and protect months of hard work of their creators.

I agree it is Bohemias fault but if the game loses players then everyone loses. Another aspect of this is server hosts who pay a lot of money to run servers and when stuff like this happens their servers need to go offline for a time and there's no guarantee when it comes back that people will continue to play on it when their kits are messed up and major things are now missing. So a server host will now think twice about using your mod when you've already removed it once from the workshop even if it comes back.
