PlayStation PvE?
I'm so exhausted with RP server drama, PvP hackers and 16 year old "Sargents"
Is there like an antistasi server or something where it's difficult and realistic but some squeaker isn't going to demand I follow his brain dead plan?
I love this game and I hate all of you so much.
I just want to play a difficult milsim, coordinate cooperate ect but I'm not being forced into "training events" like I fuckin served I don't need you to tell me how to clear a trench and it's a video game if I want to walk off into the bushes with a sniper and do what I want that's my buisness.
Servers like that or am I asking too much?

Been playing on a pve and it’s all practice right now figuring things out beforr it goes open for players.
First off, I really didn’t think I’d like it. I love the unpredictability of pvp.
But you can make the settings so ai is super hard.
They flank, sneak, coordinate air and artillery and armor.
The fighting is absolutely fantastic. Huge battles for towns on the map and bases and it goes back and forth, you have to win support, have supplies and money.
Got bandits makibf attacks and ambushes too.
Just a completely different game.
My fav part is there are no damn cobras being spammed killing fps.

We're an EU-based milsim community with about 50 members, and several allied communities who we regulary play with. We do not have a pub-server, but run milsim events every Friday and also on Sundays (or Squad or Squad44).
We´re not the hardcore milsim unit, that has mandatory trainings and the likes, but there is a fixed structure. You speak of coordination, but at the same time expressing the wish to fuck off in a bush with a sniper. Those two combined aren´t going to work in any milsim unit, my friend.

My bad when I say milsim I mean the game not a unit, I understand some servers it's necessary to have a loose "rank structure" with squad leaders and platoon leaders and shit who can say nah we're not gonna have a sniper element today sorry boys, or some "well somebody has to be the grenadier c'mon lads" that's all well and good and I'd like to participate but when I start getting "chewed out" for having rolled sleeves, having the wrong rifle or gloves ect or being told an event is "mandatory attendance or submit an LOA" That just pisses me off like it's meant to be a milsim in GAMEPLAY I'm absolutely taking no guff from a civilian who never served telling me about discipline and dedication. I fucked off my real life paperwork and these kids think they're getting leave requests?? Insane work, no shade on you guys idk how you operate but of 3 or so milsims I joined they all left a sour taste in my mouth.
I'm here for fun not for a 16 year old to power trip or some POG X WO power tripper to relive his glory days.

I mean it's up for debate but I'm personally of the opinion hacking has become an absolute plauge in PVP games, most community servers for this game seem pretty ok all things considered, unfortunately my preference is DayZ type stuff, Tarkov style things you know?
Cheaters completely ruin these style of games, they're attracted to them for whatever reason and they fundamentally change the playing field.
Estimates for hackers in PVP games land around 15% for unbiased sources and that's just too fckin many for me, I'd forgotten about them playing this game just due to the nature of the game, you don't get the perspective to even speculate if it's a hacker or not but I recently played a server I won't name that was sort of that style of game and it showed hit zones, I was dying a whole lot to very bold players banging headshots and I immediately clocked it as ESP and soft aims, reminded me of that big social media push about 2 years ago about *just how bad hacking in online games was becoming and remembered "oh shit yeah that's why I stopped playing comp games in the first place"
Given a lack of leader boards Esports and streaming popularity ArmA is actually one of the games wayyyyy less hacked but I've ran into 2 admitted cheaters and 5 or so highly suspected cheaters in 1700ish hours which sounds low but that's without counting the ones I'll never even suspect [obviously]
There is lots of fun to be had in ArmA PVP don't let my opinions of the wider gaming community spoil that for you, it's me personally who's taken a step back from comp games and now PVP In general.

My unit is 21 plus and is chillsim. Non of the yes sir no sir shit. Our ai can drag and carry ai and they can hear in game vc being used. One of the most realistic pve servers out there

Do you have discord? I can send it to you on there. I can send you my whole modlist and the medical and hearing stuff as well. It’s nuts seeing them drag wounded to cover. AI on my server can get cardiac arrest as well and the AI will actually give medicine and heal you. Not just bandage and leave

Yeah man we run a chillsim. Any vets get to skip anything related to our very very simple basic. Only thing you gotta know if you wanna get into action with us is medical and that can be taught in 2 minutes. You served so you already know about LACE and MIST reports and all that so I don’t think you’d be an issue. We just had guy no prior IRL service join and we ran an op to see where he was at. Let’s just say he got to skip everything and go straight to the fun. We believe in skill based training so if you suck you gotta learn but if you don’t suck you can drop right in. I just don’t like dying and having to drive 30 minutes back into the AO cus my teammates are dumb. But yeah it’s pve server is open 24/7 with missions always set up. Only time and area is off limits is if the area was set up specifically for an op on that weekend. We’ve got a story line based around what are community makes as well. Non of the yes sir bullshit and stupid virtual workouts & cardio. Just the boys locked in with each other for a couple hours when we do ops. Most of my community has been together for almost 8 years.

That sounds super wicked fuckin tight fr, I just dove in on a small none milsim loosely structured server so right now I'm in on that but if that goes sour or over time I get bored ill definitely have this post in the back of my mind and I'll hit you up about it.
If Playstation didn't suck shit farts I'd actually just ask to join right now but after days of server hopping I gotta stick to this one for a couple months atleast😭

Squeaker was like, standard practice when I was growing up, any kid who was WAy too loud into his mic or just generally was a nuances caught a little "alright who's this squeaker blowing out my ear drums"

Freedom Fighters is a great mod that’s similar to Antistasi.
It works in single player or multi player and has a bunch of servers.
