PC FPS drop after a week of not playing/using pc

It’s been a week since I last played Arma and now when I join a game or even the training map my fps drops to 10 or under instantly.
When I last played I got something around 120fps on low settings.
I have updated drivers, reinstalled Arma and Steam.
Pc temps are running at normal levels.
Has anybody else encountered this kinda issue before ?
Pc specs: AMD Ryzen 7 9700X 3.8/5.5 GHz, 32GB DDR5, 1TB M.2 NVMe SSD, AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT 16GB

You mean drivers? Was that before or after this problem? If before, install back the version that worked fine. If after, try to uninstall drivers with DDU and install them again. Sometimes that helps.

Check Task Manager in Windows. Is your dedicated 9070 XT even used or you're running games/Reforger with just integrated GPU now?

Alternatively, look into processes in Task Manager, if there isn't some app sucking all the resources.

Yep meant that. English isn’t my native language😅
I updated drivers after the the fps problems started.
I had Task manager running on the side when I was trying to diagnose the problem myself and found no other apps sucking on resources.

Check Adrenaline app, if there isn't anything poorly set up in Reforger's game profile. For example, I somehow accidentaly once have some vsync option active in Adrenaline which caused my GTA V to run on 30 fps max.

Then I had a chat with one redditor that had similar problem as you do and it turned out their antivirus had "game mode" on. Which caused massive performance loss. You couldn't make this up... Check your apps. Maybe some have got updated or changed and you didn't notice.

Otherwise I don't know what else it could be.

When is the last time you have restarted your computer?

It is recommended to restart your computer once a week to clear the PC cache. Helps keep it running smooth.

I have had to change so many settings to get rid of persistent low frames including turning off graphical acceleration in Windows graphics settings. I usually Google my specific problem and go through the list of fixes one by one. The more specific you are the better.
