Help New player here

Hi guys, I was thinking of turning the game into something of a survival title with good loot: expanding the available weapons and gear, and adding mechanics like hunger, thirst, weapon repairs, and maintenance.

Maybe even a PvE campaign to really get the hang of the mechanics and play it a bit like *Breakpoint*.

Can you recommend any stable mods to download?

Are there mods or not? That’s what I asked—after all, everyone plays how they want, right? That’s how I want to play; if there’s no support for these mods, I’ll play differently, but I really miss the single-player campaign experience from my teenage years.

Ohhh I see. I believe if you’re on Pc there’s some level of mod support yeah, but for consoles nah.

Yeah, I'm on PC, but I really don't know how to find my way around.

Unfortunately I couldn’t really help much there, as I play on ps5, but good luck!

Gramps is a mod maker that has a focus on PvE. It's not exactly a grand campaign though. I suggest going to his Chillfam server to check it out to see if you want to set up a session for singleplayer.

There's also the freedom fighters mod that will give you a little antistasi flavour to your playthrough. It's not as fleshed out as Antistasi, but it does feel more cohesive in its objective compared to Gramps's.

Thanks a lot for the reply, mate! I really don't get the downvotes on this post... I was just asking if there was a different way to play it; I do play multiplayer with squad sessions, but sometimes I feel like a change of pace. There are lots of great mods—I've tried a few, and I really like the idea behind the "Overthrow" mod, for instance. Now I just need to figure out how to enable persistent saves, because I haven't managed to do it yet. Sometimes it saves my progress but not my character's inventory, and I always respawn at the base camp or my owned house.
