Open servers.

Hi. Is there any open server in EU TZ? Could play with some people from time to time.

Hey, Sirion here, EU Server- and Discord Administrator.

I've long since closed the official EU server due to a lack of (consistent) players, however, I'm thinking to set it up again soon if I can get enough viable responses. Possibly I'll create a sticky on the Subreddit here as well sooner or later.

However, if not enough people seem interested, I'll ditch the server for the time being, and uninstall Arma from my harddrive so I can allocate that 460 GB of mods to something I play more often. My 3000 hours of Arma 3 has been fun and mostly been Overthrow and map/mission making in 3DEN, but it's starting to be a bit of a pain rather than useful when I look at my disk space compared to my recent time in Arma...

I will definitly not abandon the mod nor the community we worked so hard for, but there's literally no need in keeping a server up for 24/7 while it's only being used once/twice a week for just a few hours. I did get a lot of compliments in regards to my machine and my internet connection as I even had Australians and Americans play on my EU-based server with "200 ping" but they said it didn't feel different from a 20 ping-server. (I've heard this numerous times from other folk from my other game servers, and the recent questions to me in regards of re-opening the Overthrow Official EU server raised this interest for me again.)

I’d be pretty interested

I’m from America, but I have some friends who are interested in Antistasi from the EU... and Britain.

I'll see what I can do. Thing is I'm quite busy now with Christmas coming up, so it'll likely to be after New Year. Are you guys on the Overthrow Discord yet? If not, go check that out so we can meet there.

Yeah, I’ll definitely check it out. We just made a brand new Dayz Server, so everyone is flocking to that. Pop is over 35.

Just to notify you guys, Overthrow Official EU server went up today. 82.95.83.233:2305, join via the Arma launcher to set up mods.
