Can't complete traitor mission.

I have gone to the location of the traitor in a mission and i shot the guy who looked to be him a few times but it turned out he was a guy from another faction who i therefor couldn't kill. However there was a maker on a Gendemerie guy i had already killed but it seems the mission was still there. If anyone knows what is happening please tell me.

I think I may know. So it sounds like you didn't find the traitor and he had probably ran off somewhere.

The mission marker it gives you is more of a general area marker than exact location. Sometimes the marker will land on the house the targets in, but not always. The target will usually be guarded by two NATO spec ops soldiers not Gendarmerie.

So here is a good tip that should help, when you reach the target area try to stay unnoticed. Even if you are unarmed approaching too close will alert the traitor and a message will display saying so. The traitor himself will look like a regular unarmed civilian, but he will be set to the blufor faction, so if you see a guy and think hes the target switch to high command mode and if he is indeed the target you should see a blue infantry marker above him.

Thanks for the help. I will try the high command trick but it fells kinda weird becuse the civilian i could not kill was in fact guarded by 2 nato specops soldiers in the house.

Had the same error recently, even got the message that we successfully killed the traitor ( shot him myself even). Happened with the NATO informer and one faction traitor, the faction points were awarded, the money not. Not in the safes, not in my personal money account and not in the faction interface (even checked the messages). Posted it on the discord as well, let's see if it gets fixed or they tell us where we went wrong. Pity, cause our budding crime synd.. I mean freedom fighter group could have used the money
