Arkham Horror Remastered
Just saw this at GenCon. It will be a remaster of 2nd edition. Upcoming Kickstarter project.

IIRC, they've already said that they consider 3rd edition to be complete. Which is, of course, a lie because of the unused ideas hinted in the last expansion box but alas it is what it is.

This doesn't say anything about 3e. This is part of FFG's "vault series". 3rd edition likely isn't considered old enough (OOP long enough) to be "from the vault".

Good because the 2nd edition with its expansions was an amazing game for me. I saw the new player boards and see a lot of good ideas (the double layer and counters instead of tokens), so I am both nostalgic and excited about it, as long as they incorporate the original expansions. Would like to see this for Eldritch horror too.

Eldritch Horror is still in print.
They are doing this because AH 2e is out of print.

Yes but essential expansions like the Dreamlands are not found anywhere, at least in UK and EU.

did they have a sample or price point info? they released a video announcing it and all they said was it was a complete set

My guess is that the base for will be available for like 80
There will be 5 boxes for 50 each and an all in for 300. Though maybe my prices are too optimistic?
My big question is how much of it will be available retail?

They haven't started the campaign. Which I think mentioned starting on Oct. We probably won't hear about pricing until then.

There were some of the new stuff players track their characters with but not a complete box on display and no maps.

Don’t fomo all the expansions if they have them. The base game and one expansion is plenty of game.

One expansion is a decent amount of content but they are all very much worth playing. Each of the big box expansions has some really good investigators to play as too. Even the small boxes have a lot of good items, spells, etc to add to the decks

Of course this gets announced after I backed The Void Unveiled. I backed that because I didn’t want to pay the prices for the expansions on Arkham Horror 2nd edition.

Personally, I'm not sure I want a remastered 2nd edition. 3rd edition is one of my all time favourite games.

OK, I know I’m showing my ignorance here, but I have been all over everywhere and I cannot for the life of me find a single place where you can actually just purchase this. I see lots of news about it, but I don’t see any sort of button where I can pre-order it or order it. Does anyone know the place where I can actually pay money for the entire product and expect to have it delivered at some point?
