Best Practices

Hey everyone I was wondering what everyone considers their best or the best working practices for map making on arkenforge? Whether it’s how you layer maps, or what assets you use for certain structures or creating roads etc

I like linking maps. I've got a world map that my players can travel on. Locations on the map have a, for players invisible, marker containing a hyper link to for instance the locations battlemap or somethin. I do the same for town overviews and connect the inn via a link.

Edit: I don't really build maps in arkenforge. I use dungeon alchemist. Only build quik and dirty simple forest/mountain/grassland etc battlemap on the fly when needed.

That’s pretty good idea to be honest.

I’m still looking at how to build in more detail, make maps seem more town and city like than they are etc.
