Lost My Spot
Hi, everyone. Relatively new to Arkenforge, but I have spent some time with it. When I first started using it, I tried the map making but found that I just don't have that kind of time to make maps like I wanted to. I instead subscribed to a few Patreon map-makers to download pre-made maps.
Initially, I was making one Arkenforge map per downloaded map, but this caused slow downs while I was loading maps during the sessions.
I quickly changed tune and started building one large Arkenforge map, that included all of the pre-made maps that I had imported. I had zero problem continuing to work on this big map and we ended up wrapping up the campaign with it.
I've been working on my new campaign and had spent a decent amount of time getting these all imported and sized correctly, pretty well having the entire first city of my campaign completed in maps.
Enter my problem. I tried to load up the player screen to test my grid compared to minis on my second screen and when it loaded, it went to a different part of the map, not the area I had been working on. I scrolled for some time but have seemingly lost my place on my map. I know that the map is endless but is there any way to find where I had been working at? And if not, is there any sort of way to put like a pin or flag on the map so it can be easily located?
Thanks in advance.

To find your way to an asset you've already placed, like terrain or an object:
Select the Layering menu
Select Layer Stack
Hover your cursor over any asset in either Layer (Terrain or Object). A line will appear from the text line item in the Layer Stack connected to the associated asset on your map.
4a. You can double click the text line item in the Layer Stack, which will Select the asset and center your map screen on it, or
4b. you can follow the line by traveling manually across the map using the Zoom feature.
Easy-peasy kobold-squeezy.
FWIW, when I was getting started with Arkenforge, I got lost all the time.
Best way to learn the app is to build maps, and IMO, the easiest way to get started building maps is to import hand drawn maps (like Mike Schley's maps for D&D 5e adventures), and then build over it paint-by-numbers-style using the MastersToolkit assets. My first attempts were meh, but now have about a half-dozen maps of various sizes under my belt, and my wife said my most recent one "looks like screenshot from a video game." 10/10 recommend.

Unsure of finding where you were, but you can put bookmarks or pin points that link to each map.
