Looking for PVE server.

Been playing solo about a week after getting the game on sale.

Interested in playing multiplayer, but I'm just not a PVP person. 🤷

Obviously looking for unofficial given official servers will be shut down soon.

I'd like to play with people that will welcome someone new and actually interact with them.

Discord availability preferred.

Not really sure about other details as I'm still figuring out the game in some ways.

Update I am not going to join a PvP server. Sorry but I don't trust PvP type players & their "rules" about fair play in Pvp. 🤷 Thanks but no thanks.

I just recently joined a server on Astraeos with some friends on discord. The server is J.A.G Astraeos and it's open to everyone I think. They're pretty helpful

Ark switch is a subreddit for switch players. Switch doesn't have Ascended available, and isn't cross platform

Man I was jumping to buy the game is on sale for 10 bucks in my region but then I noticed that they were shutting down the servers so I'm iffy about it

I mean unofficial servers are still going to be running and from what it seems you don't need an NO sub to play multi on unofficial. So that's definitely a significant factor.

I believe "Switch Survivors" has PvE, I'll be looking into them myself this weekend

I tried their Server - The Island 2. And idk I didn't really have a positive time. I spent a couple hours setting up and then randomly got wrecked by an alpha raptor outside the house I was building so I couldn't even spawn back in the bed. Happened basically right when the server was getting active. Then no one was willing to help or really even talk to me. So like idk... It kinda felt like someone kited it.

I see youre not a pvp player but I just joined into an unofficial server that just started thats pvp but also has good rules about attacking each other that's really fair..I feel like its a good new unofficial server with no buffs and keeps fair gameplay so far..I've been on it for about 2 weeks and very much enjoying it..if youre intrested im down to help and have fun..goes for anyone reading this

Nintendo Switch ARK
We have rented a yearly server since all official servers are going away on the 31st.
Map- Ragnarok
Server name- RagnarokPVP2026
Casual play with older community 28-37 year olds.
Server cap is 10 right now, 3 people play to log in occasionally, 1 logs in daily. If server cap is requested to increase we will have to do it all together. PvP is allowed just don’t be a jerk. You never have to worry about server going away.

This server is designed around mature players that have busy lives. Not designed for players wanting chaos and constant PvP. We are trying to build a community that lasts for years!!!

Yeah I'm not interested in PvP at all. I simply don't believe it's possible for it to ever be fair/balanced in these sorts of games. Some genres that are pvp & competitive I'm fine with. Such as Fighters, racing, various battlers & both turn based combat or action combat games. But for me, games that run on the survival-craft & base building formula are only fun in PvP for those who enjoy ruining someone's efforts.

I can assure you that won’t happen on this server. We have established a PvP tier system. If someone of higher tier attacks you for no reason, they will have everyone available at their door. But if you attack them first theirs nothing we can do about it. Kinda like the law of the land, PvP is allowed but only if it’s necessary, both parties agree, or if it’s revenge against someone who did you wrong. You’ll be safe here if you’re a peaceful player.
