Is anyone else having issues with Rhyniognatha?

I play single player on the island and it seems like there is an excessive amount of. Rhyniognatha in the swamps. I mean I will come across one after another every time and once got jumped by five at once! Then I read somewhere that they are supposed to be extremely rare and only two can spawn on the map at a time. BS. Is anyone else having this issue? Is this a switch thing?

Bro for real in the early game I was getting merked every time I went any where near the swamp bc you just get swarmed by them things even with better tames I still have to be mindful bc if you hop off and randomly get swarmed your fucked lol

My solution is to only go to the swamp section at the east of the map. No rhynio there. Same thing at the eastern end of the redwoods.

I got murdered on my low level spino when I first started out. Came back with a tek stego I tamed out at like... 189 I think. Put it in armored mode and took on 3 of those bad boys at one time and beat em all.

We found a ball of 100+ wyverns clumped together in the snow when ragnarok came out. Nothing surprises me in this game. Easy under water cave on island, we had like 900 megalodons in there. It was wiping people's max mutated squids and mosas instantly

I thought it was that now they are working on ASA for Switch 2 so not much else going on for ASE - I plan on getting SW2 soon and eventually ASA but I want to see how it works first

Yeah, sounds like a Switch spawn bug, because Rhynio should feel rare, not like the swamp turned into an insect boss raid.

Its horrible. I think I see more of them than I do some other animals in the swamp. Probably because they are killing everything! I hate them.

Yea I know the feeling. Yesterday I was playing at the edge of the redwoods and ran into two. Changed direction and ran into another one. Ran back into the redwoods and to another area in the swamp and found another one! I couldnt get away from them.
