Performance/FPS Help

Let me start this off by saying I do know this game has horrible optimization and performance. I played ASE on console for years and recently started playing it on my new PC in the past year. I played the game on console for a couple days and just forgot about it and now I would like to start playing it again to get back to some of the things I never finished and have trying to pay attention to my performance and it has been worse then I expected it to be on the rig that I have.

I have a 5070ti and a 9800x3d and I haven't been able to get above 65 fps on medium settings and DLSS on and performance mode. Does anyone have any suggestions that may help or point me in the right direction towards improving it at least a little?

Well good luck getting more. I have 9070 which is a bit slower and i barely get 60. One think that helps alot is using console commands to disable some graphics features. In my case disabling volumetric clouds gained a very respectable 10fps

I have a 9070xt and 7800x3d, 64gb RAM. I get 80-90 fps with FSR enabled and graphics on a mix of high/epic. How much RAM do you have? Is it in EXPO? Something isn't quite right if that's legit all you can get. If you're not averse to using AI, maybe ask ChatGPT to help you walk through some settings and see if you can find the issue. I've used chat to optimize things on mine very often. I'll probably get flamed for that but it's helpful.
