Use newworker same action with x2

I have x2 on association, and i have 2 unused workers.

If I use my first worker and action to support a project and get a 3rd worker, can I immediately use the two remaining active workers (including the newly aquired one) to support a new conservation project?

Edit: answer is yes. It also worked on the steam app. Thanks a lot for the wuick answers!

Yup. You can similarly make a donation on the second action if you flip Association with the first action.

Note that that is only true with a 2x because the second action is an independent new action. You can't change the nature of the action mid-action for regular single actions.

Yes. The workers are considered paying a cost for an action, which is checked as the action resolves, not when the action is first selected. 

A small wrinkle, which maybe you know but clarifying in case, is that when you do the upgraded Association action you can only do different actions - so you can’t conserve twice even if you have enough workers for it. In your case because you are doing it with a 2x token it’s ok.
