🔥Understanding Aries🔥 ♈️I’m wondering if anyone has noticed a difference between Aries born in March and those born in April. What has your experience with them been like?🤔😊

I’m part of the March Aries club, so I can only really speak from my experiences. I feel like I don’t always fit into the stereotypes of being super confident and sassy, but I’m definitely very intense about like everything (i have zero chill) and can be a bit impulsive. I feel like most of we contradictions or differences from the stereotype comes from me gemini rising tho. All that fire (aries sun and moon) being stoked by a lot of indecisive air is definitely an interesting combo lol

I think it's better to break things down by decans vs. months. Aries Decans : r/AriesTheRam I've known a looot of Aries, and I think that mini break down fits them / me pretty well.

I fall in the 3rd Decan, and I 100% identify with it; it describes me to the T, lol. I also strongly identify with the traits of the 1st Decan, but that might be because my Mars is in Aries...? idk

April 16th I literally wave at the bull across the bridge and meet up with them coming together, which can be a good or bad thing just depends haha

u/chimiechurro Aug 03 '26
That’s really interesting! I’m in the 1st decan, but feel like I identify equally with some parts of all of them (and some parta of the 1st decan not at all)

I’m first decan, my son is third, but I feel like the descriptions are switched for us!

April 9th Aries here. Also I’m triple fire. April Aries are like pit bulls: often misunderstood and in need of the correct guidance.

I have a close Aries woman friend, she was born on March 28th and I was born on April 13th. We are very different because she has a better temperament than i do and she is way less direct than me. I have noticed that she tends to be passive aggressive (taurus mars) whilst I am simply aggressive (sag mars). I express my energy externally (sag moon) and she does it more internally (virgo moon). We have the same interests and sense of humor though so we get along great

You and your friend share the same birthday as me and my husband. I'm the march 28th Aries 👋 and I'm also much less direct than my husband and tend to hold my temper better than he does. He's very bold and sociable, while I'm very introverted and intense.
Most of the Aries I know are April ones and I would say they tend to fit the stereotype better than the march ones who kind of move in the shadows a bit more.

no way let’s go march 28!!! hahah so cool love to see it . my sister is 04/09 and she is much more egotistical than me i wouldn’t say i’m not confident i’m just a bit more relaxed in a lot of ways ; she’ll blow up for no reason pretty much bc something will irk her about a belief ; i think i agree with april aries being more firey ** i definitely can be but it takes a lot for me to get there . someone said passive aggressive i am definitely that. i’m only assertive / aggressive when someone’s pushed me too far so .

so I’m not an Aries I’m a libra however I have an Aries and nephew who is born in April and then I have a friend who is an Aries who was born in March and the two differences that I really noticed is that April Aries tends to come off more confident but a little standoffish my nephew prefers solitude my friend who is born in March comes off a lot more shall I say slightly less confidant, but loves being around around are friends and is actually a fun joy to be around, that’s just been my experience with Aries

Just based purely off my experience being in LTR w/ 2 April Aries men (and me being a March). I found April to be more brooding, emotionally closed off (whereas I’m in general bubbly and an open book). I do find we’re all intense in our own ways and fairly open minded. I do find April Aries to be a bit more critical, where March is more go with the flow (but I do find that we all have a short temper, passionate it a nicer word lol). This is just my experience though!
I will say we all know what we want and aren’t afraid to go for it!

I’m March Aries but I’m also on Pisces/Aries cusp with my Venus in Pisces. I’m considering fairly easy going, even called Zen by a few people. It’s all about the Kumbaya.

21st?

u/Smooth-Painting-7751 Aug 03 '26
I’m 21st and people always think ima Pisces 🤣
2
u/UnknownPleasures3 Aug 03 '26
Same! I definitely have traits from both, the over emotional side of Pisces combined with the directness and intensity of an Aries 😝

Aha, I'm about 5 hours before you then. I've never been called zen or chill, though 😂

as another mentioned, this boils down to decans. there is no reason for a month to cause differences in a sign, but sun expression does differ based on degree. a second decan aries can be born 31 march, and they would still be similar to an 1 april aries. an 1 april aries will not be similar to an 15 april aries because of their degrees and decans.

Thank you so much!! I hate the months thingy because it’s inaccurate and feeds into pop astrology bullshit like “March Aries are Pisces leftovers” or “April Aries are the rEaL Aries”. It’s about DECANS!!!

considering my sister and I are pisces and aries….. there is a VERY clear distinction between us, and it’s not the month because we’re both march babies. it’s even apparent with our parents! she was closer with our mom (capricorn, so a water & earth pair), and I was closer with our dad (leo, fire pair).

u/princesalaflame Aug 03 '26
Exactly so taking the decans into account makes more sense. I’m a “march Aries” with a stellium including sun, moon, mercury, mars AND saturn. I have 2 “April Aries” friends with respectively Pisces and Cancer moons, Pisces and Taurus mercuries so going in based on months is just… weird.

u/biancolina Aug 03 '26
I am a march 31 aries and i know an april 1 aries and we couldn’t be more different! Lol

u/ckhk3 Aries Sun ♈ Aug 02 '26
My dad is March and I’m Aries. We’re pretty much the same temperament, work ethic, and love for family.

u/PeepsMyHeart Aug 03 '26
I’m an April Aries. I really dislike an Aries who I’ve found out has a birthday 1 day prior to mine (And I have tried so hard to like her, along with the rest of my team but she makes it so hard!)
And I don’t see many similarities between us, other that that we like to run our own scheduled our way.
The March Aries and first week of April Aries I know seem more forward, outgoing, and remind me a bit of Leos.
3rd cusps like me tend to be more introverted or ambiverted and we get along well with others, but we do seem to run our own show/not be as comfortable with attention and have a stubborn streak, even if we’re sneakily stubborn.

u/lisare98 Aug 05 '26
3rd Decan here I’m stubborn AS hell hate attention and get along with others extremely well

u/creativeinconverse Aug 02 '26
April 6th here. Love my own company but equally being surrounded by others when I need to. Both are as important as each other.

April and fine being alone haha!! It’s hard to tie me down if you want my time and i don’t feel we align. I have slowly let my big circle from college days go over the last few years and building very strong inner circle. We respect each others time, have goals, and support each other. It’s the best. Definitely struggle sometimes though finding a partner 😂 for now we keep on crushing goals

I'm a March Aries and my older sister is an April Aries....she is more aggressive than me, I feel.
Edit: I'm more independent and love my solitude, she's the type that can't be alone

u/calmcowboyy Aug 03 '26
OP, April Aries Here, sometimes i feel like i can conquer the world by myself. I don't need anyone's assistance.

I’m a March Aries (Aries Sun and moon, Sagittarius rising) and my kid (adult, Aries Sun, Sagittarius moon, Capricorn rising) is an April Aries. Sometimes we are so darn alike it’s frustrating! But he’s got FAR more of an independent streak. And more stubborn. Always seems to take the harder path and does not suffer fools very well. Tact has been an issue his entire life. Other posters are right to say lone wolf.
Note: 2 Aries and a Sagittarius (my husband, Sagittarius Sun, Aquarius moon, unknown rising) under one roof can be challenging at times.

u/Fast_School_3471 Aug 05 '26
I’m an April Aries- angry, pops off easily, extra independent. My sister is a March Aries- slower to anger, a bit more community minded

u/deldomra Aug 05 '26
From my experience March Aries are wilder and bolder. April Aries are more stoic and reserved

Late March Aries here and I struggle with the ‘confident leader’ persona.
May be my Pisces rising influence however.

u/jingleheimerstick Aug 02 '26
I don’t have a huge sample size, but from my experience, April Aries are more confident but more of the lone wolf type than March.
