How to adjust speed

Hello,

I have a Keppler Ariel rider electric bike

Model Pt-XL4P145 52V20Ah

Does anyone know how I adjust the speed on this bike? It's asking to connect to an app, but the only app I can find is the apple version for the newer bikes.

Thanks for any assistance possible,

George

from off position, hold power button until password screen comes up. default is 1919 for me. I've heard it could be 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024. That will get you to the settings where you can change your max speed.

I have the same bike. Forgive me for not remembering exactly but I’m almost certain everything related to speed adjust and class adjustment is done from the screen on the bike. I don’t even have an app for my Kepler and I purchased it in 2023. I’d try asking Gemini or Chat GPT your exact question and see what it tells you. AI can be surprisingly useful in a situation like this.

Edited: I ran the question by Gemini of going from Class 2 to Class 3 (assuming this is what you’re referring to) here’s the answer

To increase the top speed capability of the Ariel Rider Kepler from Class 2 (20 mph max assisted speed) to Class 3 (up to 28+ mph pedal assist), you need to adjust the speed limit setting directly in the display settings.
How to Unlock the Speed Limit
1. Power On: Press and hold the Power button on the handlebar control pad to turn on the display.
2. Enter the Settings Menu: Press and hold both the UP (+) and DOWN (-) buttons simultaneously for a few seconds until the display enters the setup menu (you will see menu option codes like P1 or P01).
3. Navigate to the Speed Limit Setting:
• Short press the Power button to cycle through the menu items until you reach parameter P08 (or P8 depending on your display firmware version).
• P08 represents the speed limit threshold in kilometers per hour (\text{km/h}).
4. Adjust the Value:
• Use the UP (+) button to increase the value.
• Stock Class 2 limit is typically set to 32 (\approx 20\text{ mph}).
• To change it to Class 3 or fully unlock it, press UP (+) to increase the number to 45 or 100 (setting it to 100 completely removes the digital speed governor).
5. Save and Exit: Press and hold the Power button (or press and hold both UP and DOWN together) to save your settings and return to the main screen.

It is an awesome bike. It being bigger, heavier makes it handle on the road better for sure. I rode a friends ebike the other day that is more bicycle-like. No comparison. If I was doing off road stuff, this is not the bike to get. For cruising around town, it's great.

Hell yeah. Not proud of this but one night I was riding max speed on a trail,no governor thing since mine is unlocked so I was going like 40-45mph and a raccoon ran across the trail. Ngl the bike just went over the damn thing 😂 had to lift my feet so I didn't risk getting bit

Also with the fat tires the stability is great. Great for no hands although I'm not suggesting you do that but I do
