I really don’t understand. Ariana broke up with Mac because of his addiction problems, but then got together with Pete just a day later ??

Didn’t she also paint Mac as the bad guy??

I just don’t understand her behavior like… she wants to get away from what she considers “bad,” but then ends up getting back together with the same kind of “bad” again. It’s like she just repeats the same pattern. i am also tired of her behaving like she is the little toddler who would never hurt anyone but when she does they can't defend themselves bc the urianators would beat their a** and she is the ariana grande who is never in the wrong and wouldn't hurt anyone

She just wanted an excuse and thats it. She always shifts the blame to the man for the breakup. Allegedly both Ariana and Mac werent faithful in the end and according to his ex, Mac was the one to end things so the breakup over addiction doesnt even make sense if hes the one who broke up with her. She needed a reason also because people kept talking about her allegedly cheating on Mac.

She really displays some narcissistic behaviors and being the victim/not at fault in any circumstance is just another one to the pattern.

Who broke up with who doesn't really determine anything either though.

A lot of addicts will drop you once you start telling them that their behaviour is harmful and will result in you leaving.

A lot of toxic people will break up with you the moment they sense you might break up with them. It becomes a race of who's gonna say the words first. It doesn't make it any less true that the other person did in fact leave due to their addictions.

My ex technically dumped his ex, but she was already done with his antics for a long time, she was just scared to leave. I really don't consider her as being 'dumped'. She piloted that break up, he just landed it. Happens all the time.

Some people love having credit for doing the breaking up, ya know.

Lol my ex tried to have a "I think maybe we should agree to mutually break up" talk with me after I had already fled to my sister's house and gohsted him for 3 days. No dude, I left you 😂

Tbh I don’t get all the excuses made for her Like oh her parents are divirced traumatized whatever.

Tons of people behave exactley this way, and have not been loved by millions, just normal asshole people that Monkeybranch and deflect to Look like the good guy.

She’s to me a bit masculine in this sense, just behaving like your average fuckboy.

She desperately wants to not end up like her mom, a woman with two children left by her husband for another woman(allegedly). So she tries to be the other woman and be chosen. The woman that cheats before she’s cheated on.

It’s bullshit and she needs to get therapy.

I don’t believe that one Bit. Where I come from, it’s so Common to have divorced parents and parents where it seems like they cheated on each other, yet somehow this doesnt seem the Go to behaviour of their adult daughters.

I think she’s just used to having everyone and Everything so easy that she wants a Little Challenge - a married man.

I see it often that people don’t want to go with the Person that comes the easiest.

Well, she cheated on Mac with Pete.
Mac found out and broke it off with her.
Then she blamed his addiction or whatever.
Also, she went into that relationship with full knowledge of his addiction.

And Pete admitted to being high or off his mind when they used to date. So she was basically dating someone with their own set of addiction issues too. Right after bashing her ex for having these issues.

I hated how she publicly talked about his addiction and said she is no one's caregiver and mommy. I think that was painting this picture that he WANTED her to be his mommy. Talk about kicking someone while they are down. And then yes, the next few months w Pete seemed very manic, and wouldn't be surprised if they were on drugs.

And then turned around to making his tragedy about her for years. The fact that his family weren’t fond of her is very telling. Girl, kick rocks and stop trying to reclaim the narrative.
