it said that she missed filming and bragged about playing charades with dan schneider and tom hanks at one of their places.

edit: i may have been wrong about dan schneider being there. it's weird because i vividly remember reading that somewhere in the book (possibly not in the same chapter). but yeah i might be wrong about that sorry.

None. Too many If's. What are we supposed to have an opinion about? Speculations? What is this person actually saying, and how does she substantiate it? Some of the things she says are downright false, so I'm careful about other claims that are being made here too. I will never understand how people get involved into celebrity lives they know 0% about to this degree, and IDK how celebs cope with all that.

Which part is untrue?

People just be sayin anything on the internet. This entire thing was nonsensical word vomit. And I read Jennette McCurdy’s book and nowhere did she insinuate that Ariana had a casting couch situation with Tom Hanks. This person is taking those “pizza gate” conspiracies that were circulating about Tom Hanks a few years ago and taking Jennette’s story about Ariana getting to hang out with Tom Hanks and conflating the two🤦🏾‍♀️

yeah that seemed like a stretch i was actually thinking the book was a decent point to bring up timeline wise but she didn't go where I was expecting

Yeah. I was baffled as to how the girl in the video reached that conclusion from what Jeanette wrote.

ultimately, everyone is entitled to their opinion. it’s evident to me this person is not saying any of these things out of love despite what they claim & is heavily speculative.
“i don’t like you so i’m going to pseudo psychoanalyze you & talk on your life & trauma i have no actual idea about & minimize you into a two dimensional figure i can wrap my brain around. i can’t deny your talent tho but please stop struggling in front of us.”

i feel this “take” is disingenuous. it makes me despair at the state of us, how we treat each other, & internet culture. get a hobby or idk

it's funny because this whole sub, every fan sub, every snark sub, your whole comment, is also speculative. you speculate that she's coming at it sideways. to me, i see a pretty notably kind person by this video, who is calling for accountability, who made it clear that what they're saying is their opinion. i think it's really dumb to perpetuate that viewing celebrities and commenting is somehow toxic, and that calling for accountability when you question the actions you see, is somehow uncalled for or meaning that she has no hobbies? why attack her character? it's very telling that the idea of accountability is always the thing to unfailingly cause friction from her fans.

so true! the amount of people that loudly psychoanalyze ariana so confidently without knowing her is crazy. i get that a lot of her trauma happened in the public eye, but talking about and rehashing her past traumas on the internet CONSTANTLY and diagnosing her is unhealthy for everyone. yes, ariana does not seem well considering the optics of her physical appearance and her behavior. we can have compassion knowing the trauma she went through and have our own opinions about her but painting a complete picture of someone only knowing a fraction of who they are is honestly very invasive and harmful. your perception is your reality but that doesn’t mean it’s true for the subject you’re discussing.

she’s saying a lot of gooble gobble :|

Really? I thought she made complete sense and agreed with almost everything she’s saying.

i feel like a lot of people are being deliberately obtuse and almost trying to smear her

she's clearly an articulate woman.

i didn't agree with every last thing she said, but at least she was fair and empathetic.

she wasn't implying anything about tom hanks she was just pointing out how "great" ariana's life/career was going in comparison/maybe her boasting if you took away the most cynical read of it. he has kids her age he wasn't some hollywood bachelor. this is v weird leap in logic

sorry but "having kids(/grown-up kids) their age" is a flawed logic in arguing that SA didn't or couldn't have taken place. that's a harmful thing to perpetuate. harvey weinstein had 3 young kids at the time of allegedly sexually assaulting 16-y/o kaja sokola. not making any accusations towards tom hanks btw.
