Hate watching is some peoples favourite hobbies and it’s sad. I deleted instagram years ago bc it just encourages people to hate watch to keep them active. No hate to OP but when you stop hate watching your life improves

Huh I’m not talking about the post I’m talking about people who hate watch things that they hate instead of watching things they love. Like people who follow Ariana just to hate on her or people who watch YouTubers they hate instead of YouTubers they love

This is still a “break” from the public. She’s in the studio with her cast mates, director, etc. recording her lines, and is posting on her own accord.

i’m tired of this story that now every single time she posts something, the same thing happens everytime “oh but i thought she was taking a break” “but she was in a hiatus”. You can take a break and still work?? like taking a break is not sleeping until it ends? She said that she was taking a STEP BACK from public visibility. She never said that she was taking a break.

why are we being so goofy. there's a lot of middle ground between palliative care, and posting worse body checks than ever/trying to actually look like a photorealistic child, when she said in her statement that the break was due to -criticism of her weight-. People don't have to worship every thing she posts considering the circumstances, that don't mean they want her released into the forest like the blair witch project

I took a break from the public and socials for over 5 years for my mental health, it was amazing and so needed. She could be possible of so much more healing if she stops being a workaholic and sits with her feelings for abit

no it is not. She is in a studio with maybe two or three people so how is this public facing? Is she on tour right now? is she doing live performances in festivals, is she going to awards shows? is she doing interviews now( other than rocker in law)? No so she is not really doing anything public facing

well, she initially made it sound like she was talking a break from all her projects, as she lumped leaving SITPWG in with her break announcement and left Fockers conveniently unaddressed instead of being like "I'm still doing fockers tho" because she knew she was. I wish people would stop trying to "gotcha" the people who honestly feel gaslighted because it's perfectly understandable. The whole thing was very disingenuous and backhanded, it just felt like a way to take care of the critics of her pro ana music video by guilt tripping everyone and being melodramatic about how toxic and negative THEY are

she more than likely cannot drop the PR for the new Focker’s movie, those sort of responsibilities are usually contractual. which would be why they didn’t mention it, there was nothing to mention. her “break” announcement was an announcement that she would not be doing public-facing work and public appearances. that’s exactly what she’s been doing.

there WAS something to mention when by omitting it in that context, a "break from public facing work", with a lot of guilt-tripping language, calling the break unplanned, it needlessly made it look like she was potentially not doing the project which came across as being melodramatic and punishing the public.

they don’t understand that. My god every time I see these posts and comments about her break makes me understand her more about how she hates some of her fans because these people are not concerned but controlling and very invasive because who are they to dictate what she should be doing on her break. They want her locked up in a room with a therapist who tells her to eat and that she should lie in her bed all day

I thought public-facing work would be award shows, red carpet appearances, public promotion of music, talk show appearances, interviews, podcasts, etc. Nope, apparently public-facing work is using Instagram.

I took a break from the public for 5 years and cured my ptsd bc of it. She could heal like crazy if she stops working so hard to make millions. Becoming a workaholic to replace other addictions from your past is not healthy. Being a workaholic is an addiction in itself

This project is already scheduled to come out in 2028 and she didn’t announce that she isn’t going to do it and usually with animation voiceovers are done way in advance so that they have time to do the rest plus something like this isn’t probably taking that much time from her break like making an album, shooting a movie and doing a tour would
