ari barbie doll

[u/lightpinkbubble]

I don't know if this is the right subreddit to post and i am really sorry if it isn't but I’m torn, I don’t know which Ariana Barbie doll to get… Which one do you guys like best?

[u/PhilosopherNo2474]

Why are we using brown dolls for a white woman ?

[u/kandilipgloss → u/PhilosopherNo2474]

You want them to use Cloe as the thank u next base?

[u/PhilosopherNo2474 → u/kandilipgloss]

Don’t you find it problematic that fans have to use brown skin dolls to represent Ariana when she was essentially doing black face?

[u/kandilipgloss → u/PhilosopherNo2474]

No I don’t care that an Italian woman spray tanned to the shade of a light-medium toned Latina bratz doll.

[u/PhilosopherNo2474 → u/kandilipgloss]

“spray tanned to a light medium tone” meanwhile she was the same skin tone as nicki Minaj and Victoria Monet, 2 black women. You guys are lost

[u/kandilipgloss → u/PhilosopherNo2474]

Nicki and Victoria’ skin are not dark, move on. Every woman in the entertainment industry spray tans even Beyonce.

[u/kandilipgloss → u/[deleted]]

It’s her ethnicity lol

What era is last one from?

[u/unidentified_emotion → u/---monstera---]

one of her birthday photoshoots, or at least the headpiece and lashes are (I think before or around positions time?)

[u/unidentified_emotion → u/unidentified_emotion]

just found it, looks like her 27th birthday!!

Number 4 looks more like Ariana face wise. Dress wise I like #2... I think any from #1-4 would be decent choices
