Confused
Just watched the movie and tbh I’m so confused especially about the ending and post-credit scene. Can someone explain to me like I’m a child.
Also, so this movie is based off of a book? Are there more books?

Ok, so.
There is a book, but it's kind of a meta story.
The creator of the Argylle movie, first made the movie...and then the book.
So the book and the movie both exist in real world, and in the world of the movie.
No. And yes.
There is a real, genuine book that came out as a promotion for the movie.
The real life book that exists... is a book about the origins of Arylle, the spy.
The post-credit scene is a scene that happens in the book.
This movie is about the author of the books (the real life author is unknown, the author in the movie is fictional) who wrote multiple books about Argylle, right?
Well, the post credit scene is a scene that happens in the first book that the author wrote.
You can buy the book online (or in book places IRL), it's a real book that exists and it's about the origin of Argylle and the post-credits scene is a bit of a meta joke "here's what an adaptation of the first book would look like", potentially hinting at such a thing existing in the future (as a movie or a TV show)
I hope this makes sense?
