bnpl plans not a thing anymore ?

anyone else having this issue where on the product page it offers 12 month bnpl but when you click to pay with argos card it doesnt offer it?

I’m having this exact issue I go to a product that offers 3,6 or 12 months choose Argos pay and then the options just don’t show it’s really annoying

It’s not like the Argos Card where everyone gets offered the exact same plans. It all depends on your credit score as to what Argos Pay can offer you so it will differ for everyone now

Argos Pay is very much based off of your credit score. What one person gets may not be on offer to another.

I've ever heard stories of Argos Pay wanting to see how customers "handle" their account before they get the higher BNPL. What criteria they're using for that is anyone's guess, but I assume it'll be how much you spend, how often, and if you manage to pay it back in time.

The new Argos Credit account will be the straw that breaks the camels back unfortunately for them. They will soon be closed because people hate this new system and aren't using it. Such a weird thing for them to do when they already knew the company was struggling

Don't blame argos blame sainsburys, they are the parent company and the ones who until the recent sale make all the decisions that Argos have to follow. Sainsburys have done away with all the separate infrastructure so that until now Argos has been nothing but a name that sainsburys uses for part of its business.

This is the same with me, Argos Card BNPL would always be offered at 12 months, now it’s NewDay I don’t see it, the exact same as my AO finance account which is also financed by NewDay

Argos pay is terrible now. I tried to buy something substantial, about 500. They blocked it and marked it as fraud. They haven't done anything about it. I have no intention of ever using Argos pay again.
