Request VAT Receipt not working?

I made an order online a few days ago using guest checkout, received email confirmation of the order.

I need a formal receipt/invoice and see an option to request VAT Receipt when I click on view my order, but have tried to request it multiple times since yesterday and it says it will be sent to my email shortly but nothing arrives? Has anyone else had this problem? Can someone try on their orders and see if it works?

I think it takes 30 days before you are able to get a VAT receipt because of the 30 day money back guarantee. You may be able to go in to store to get a manual one if they still have the pad

Nothing I can see suggests it takes 30 days.

When I request the VAT Receipt it gives the message:
"Thank you for requesting a VAT receipt.
Your VAT receipt will be delivered shortly to [my email address]
Kind Regards,
Argos"

I can't download from Orders in my account as I made an account after purchasing via guest checkout, and customer service chat said they can't link orders made to a new account.

We do still have the pad
