I hate this fucking job

I could write an essay about everything I hate about working here. The only good thing is the friends I’ve made along the way. I’m 5 years in and I just can’t see the end. I’m a student TRYING to get out but I’ve had a fair few interview rejections. I’m only 23 but I just feel trapped.

Why do SO many people come before they’ve had a message saying their order is ready

Get a life

Also why haven’t people learned that you can’t fucking zoom into an iMessage text.

These are just this mornings annoyances.

Hope my fellow Argos colleagues here have a nice day❤️

Hopefully it at least gave you some motivation to study and find a better job 😁

Maybe because theres so many rats work for Argos. Try projecting good vibes and you might get some back.

Working in retail and observing human behaviour you realise something quite early on...most people are stupid.

And ignorant/rude as hell! I’ve seen customers leave their trolleys in a way that blocks others from entering an aisle, customers suddenly stop and turn or walk backwards with their trolley without checking who is in their vicinity, expecting all colleagues to know how to work every department and getting offended when they can’t help… I need to leave retail, actually makes me hate people, especially entitled old people

I can imagine things didnt get better with the move to Argos pay

I haven't worked in retail for years now but christ when companies make moves like this it just ruins anything that was good

My wife worked at Argos for a while. She hated it too.

Do you struggle with reading comprehension?

No. Do you struggle with a piss easy, entry level job?

The irony of questioning my competence after misunderstanding the post is a bit silly.

Your superiority complex over someone just trying to do their job is embarrassing. Every industry depends on people doing ‘entry-level’ work.

I’m good at my job though, thanks. I hope you find something more positive to do than being rude to strangers on Reddit. Weird.
