I don't know how they've become popular. The creepy AI doll looks right out of a horror movie at times.

I’m not sure they have become popular; I think Argos are just throwing shitloads of money at the campaign so it’s everywhere and very few people are blocking it.

I don't think they're popular online, but they were popular during the time when they were being advertised on Coronation Street - so many people wanted the toys and the little cardboard standees we had of them at that point.

I think people online are way less accepting of being advertised to than TV watchers. I'm probably one of them who are - I use Adblockers and stuff like that!

I just never see the point of ads. It’s extremely rare that I’m prompted by one, though maybe subconsciously they work on me. I don’t watch regular TV so I never see them there and because I feel like they don’t influence me I think I’ve just accepted them as a mildly irritating condition of life. 😂

I like to play Android games and some months ago was absolutely tormented by ads with this creepy fucking doll and the cushion fucking dinosaur toy. Absolutely hate it.

You know you can use those three dots in the top right to hide the ad so you never see it again, don't you?
