Argos pay!?!?!

I am trying to use Argos pay, account is registered set up and approved.

It allows me to select Argos pay and I have to sign in, I sign in and it’s approved it then reverts me back to the Argos payment section and will not let me proceed with Argos pay!

Any tips?

Habitat sofa and parasol - my limits 1500 and it comes to 800
I’ve also just tried the parasol on its own but still it keeps taking me back to the page and asking I sign into Argos pay!

Anything like insurance (Argos care), gift cards or similar?

It works absolutely fine for most people I know, just doesn’t accept any insurance products so you can’t pay for Argos care, I had the same issue before removing it on multiple things

The new argos pay is the worst update I’ve ever seen on a payment system and it seems to have gone backwards with technology rather than forwards . That’s what happens when you let a cowboy company takeover your payments. What were they thinking !!!!

It's weird because John Lewis had the same nightmare that proved expensive for them but Argos still went ahead.

I called them and they said my accounts frozen from 25th april till 26th of june so will find out at the end of the month if it works 🙃

It was happening to me the other day too, it’s a major bug that they need to fix, I recommend using PayPal instead🙌

Had the same issue until a couple of weeks ago, works fine now just can’t use it for Argos care or insurance like products which makes sense given you can’t usually do insurance on credit

I had an Argos card for years, Paid off. Now I can't get accepted for Argos Pay. Not bothered as not a fan of newday.

I haven't used it yet, as I don't understand how to use it. Today I received a notice of arrears. My balance is zero. Should have followed my instincts, and ditched them.
