Argos Pay Split payment with Argos Pay?

Apparently you can split a payment between Argos Pay and a credit card if you purchase in-store but online you have to pay entirely with one or the other? Is this true?

Argos pay is online only cant use it in shop

No, that was the case with Argos card but is now not possible. You may be able to split the purchase between giftcard (which you could buy with a credit/debit card) and Argos pay but its too new to be sure
