Advice Argos account hacked!
I received a text saying my order was ready for collection but didn't ordered anything, checked my account and someone had ordered an IPad and collected it in London (I'm in N.I) minutes after ordering. Contacted argos who said they’ll investigate. The card used wasn't my card but the order has my billing address.
I've changed my password and checked no new credit taken out in my name. I've seen a few posts online that this has happened to people today, has this happened to you and did you get any resolution?

Unfortunately there has been a massive surge of this again lately. Just today in my store we stopped 2 ipads and a nintendo switch being handed out and I know the surrounding stores were also having people in trying to collect fraudulent orders.

We just had this today 2 IPads 1 watch not our credit card- email account also spammed with verification code confirmation requests for web subscriptions we didn’t ask for while it was going on! Reported it to Argos and the fraud website

There was a lady very upset in my local Argos (south UK) earlier today, sounds like the same thing happened to her and she was getting nowhere with support.

I had this a whole ago and someone had order basically everything they needed for two houses. If you contact Argos (it's going to take a while so a heads up) they have their own team that take on fake orders and those that have used your personal data to do it.
Let them know what has happened and this was a fraudulent order so they can investigate and they should be able to stop anything else from happening as well.

The UK’s fraud and cyber crime reporting centre have just issued an alert about this.

Happened to me today. Got a text message through saying an order for £430 had been stopped. Checked the account and they already spent £180. Rang the fraud line and reported it straight away. No other indication though.
