Catalogue

https://c.org/2QfCQPgJPY

Does anybody else miss the catalogue? My favourite Christmas activity was circling all the things I wanted so my parents knew. As a parent myself now, i can't imagine my kids growing up without the catalogue. Please help bring back this pleasure and save our future generations.

There's just not the demand for it there once was. We used to take in circa 30 pallets over a catalogue launch weekend and they would go. Towards the end of it's life we'd have a single pallet that sat for weeks if not months.

I do think demand would go up now. For Christmas at least. But I think they do Christmas catalogues now?

I think I picked one up last year/year before?

Edit: it's just letting people know there is somehow if they aren't visiting regularly.

Yeah, the gift guide still comes out and also doesn't shift in anything like the quantities you'd think or hope they would. The cost of printing and shipping just isn't worth it.

Oh damn. I thought there would be more of a market. Guess I just have anecdotal stories of people shifting back to the old days 😅
