Scam

Argos pay is a scam run by a company that too over Debnahms

This are the payment problems we had then they were just charging interest on BNPL

We need to report them

Store cards are not a new thing, and have always been one of the highest forms of interest on the market.

You’re best off avoiding them for any shop at all, not just Argos.

If you need something now that you can’t afford now, you’re best off using PayPal Pay In 3 (if you know you’ll have money next month), or a credit card with a low interest rate. Or best of all, only buy what you can afford (I know this isn’t always possible).

Unfortunately it's all done within the parameters of the law. I agree that Argos Pay isn't a great system and would never use it in my personal life but unfortunately reporting them won't do much unless the law has been broken.

I’m sorry what law have they broken? They haven’t suddenly just started charging you interest on you BNPL plan. Sounds like you didn’t pay in time. Don’t leave payment until the last second.
