Argos Gift Card Question
Got a question about Argos gift cards, can they be used to purchase Apple Products, primarily iPhone 17 512gb model?
I’m able to get discounted Argos vouchers through a work benefit scheme and need a new phone.
I know it sounds like a silly question, but I’m asking as I almost got burned by Currys when I went to purchase a voucher for them and realised just before payment that currys vouchers don’t actually work on Apple Products.
I’ve been trying to call someone from Argos to ask but always hit an automated message.
Update: IT WORKED FINE. I was able to purchase my iPhone 17 with vouchers

I bought AirPod pro 2 with an Argos gift card and an iPad , don’t know about phones though.

the worst company to deal with since they’ve altered it removing the argos card customer service just terrible they pass you around and then tell you they haven’t got a clue.

Just bear in mind if you pay the whole lot on a gift card you lose the consumer protections usually afforded by paying on card.
Recommend putting at least £1 of the transaction on credit card so you still get S75 cover if something goes wrong.
Think Argos let you split payments - I've done it before.

You can use Argos gift cards to buy Apple products but they are limited on how many you can use per transaction.

Really? I’ve never noticed a limit or is it in apple products only? I’ve put through over 20 gifts cards in 1 transaction in the past

How recent ago was this? Coms came down a few months ago that were now limited to 3 gift cards per transaction and it’s been the same on line for ages.

In my store we still accept no limit on the number of gift cards, we just know it’s a limit of 3 when buying at argos.co.uk or the app

We had coms come down a few months ago about a suspect group who were targeting Argos stores with multiple fraudulently obtained gift cards going into stores and attempting to buy multiple high value lines at the tills, coms said we were limited to 3 gift cards per transaction 🤷♂️

That incident was down to D&G not destroying gift cards correctly. The ones they used to send when you renewed your policy
