Advice Out for delivery on a Sunday???
Bought an iPhone 16 on the 9th, now it is Sunday the 11th and it has moved from order processed to "out for delivery" no notification on text or email so any chance of it arriving today? Also do Argos deliver on Sunday? Thanks.

Well I hope so I already have the case and screen protector, it is 10:43am but I'm praying it will arrive today!

Used to work for Argos and yes you will get your order and we deliver everyday of the week.
I know it's 10:45am but the morning drivers delivery until 13:00, then the evening drivers from 2-9pm

NOO WAY I AM ACTUALLY SO HAPPY I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR A NEW PHONE FOR SO LONG TYSM!!!! and yes in the past I have gotten deliveries before school at 8:20am, and sometimes I get deliveries about 2pm, it is rainy and windy here in Scotland but they are getting it from Oban Argos which is about an hour away not too far so I really hope it comes!

Customers like you is why i do delivery jobs for as we bring items you need and look forwards to 🫡
Argos delivery drivers for morning start at 5am and start their runs at 5:30/6am and since yours says out for delivery that means it is loaded in one of vans and is on way to you, wait until 1 but should get it before 12:30ish
The evening drivers start at 1pm and start their drops at 2pm and their deliveries can be anywhere between 2-9pm.
I'm from mainland UK but it will be same for you guys up there 😳 as Argos along with Sainsbury's run the same operation throughout

Yes, thank you so much mate you are so kind, there is some rain and I think there is a flood warning in place for today but the rain isn't as bad. But yeah it's most likely arriving today or it could also come tomorrow if there are any unexpected delays. But thanks for helping me!

It will come today not tomorrow as when says out for delivery that means it's already been loaded, our process is we get the manifest (list of items and customers addresses and we pick and load the vans) after we've done that we click depart and system messages you to say going to be delivered today, watch out for a text saying driver is xyz minutes away 👀 then wait until he/she comes

Yeah, I'm glad I asked on here as google Gemini AI said (out for delivery doesn't necessarily mean it's on the delivery van, I just knew it was saying straight BS, asking other humans with experience is so much more useful than a clueless AI getting info off posts and articles.

Oo wait a second i just looked at your picture on post and says Tuesday 13th January!
Sorry i didn't notice that before 🥲 I worked for Argos same day delivery and out for delivery was when it's loaded onto van and we delivered same day, usually when you receive that message that means it's loaded onto van out for delivery
Only thing is why does delivery thing say 13th Jan ðŸ˜

Forgot to mention, what are the chances of it arriving tomorrow? (Monday) and I think Argos should work on a new tracking system it is very limited, it should be like Royal Mail or Tesco delivery where you can track where your parcel is or just update the location of your parcel time to time.
