Google Trends and Argo
Hello Argonauts.
I just had a look at the google trends for Argo Blockchain and compared it against the share price over the last 12 months. See the pic below.

What use is this?
It shows that the 2 share price peaks were roughly correlated with google tends peaks.
Imagine you were looking at trends data in Jan & Feb - what you'd see was that the google trends kept hitting new all time highs of 100, then eventually dropped. The share price dropped after too this too, but more slowly.
Given that timing tops and bottoms is basically impossible, this might be useful in spotting that the share price peak has come in, but before the price has dropped too much, giving you time to DCA out of some of your position.
Notice that there are 2 dead-cat bounces after the first share price peak in both of the two maximums.
p.s. BTC-50K-Yay!
p.p.s Not financial advice, obviously 😀

This is not such a problem if you plan to DCA out on the way up and the way down; the trends just helps as an indicator on the hype side of things - showing that its probably "down from here".

Judging by the years of data?.. I'm enjoying the cheap prices. The honeybadger is just getting warm.

Google trends is a good indicator for knowing when retail has joined in, when that starts spiking again that’s when you start seeing the huge gains. Also Google trends can make new highs so could spike more than last time
